In recent years, Vietnam has emerged as a potential market in the region, especially in the field of medical equipment and technology. The growing demand for advanced medical solutions has attracted strong interest from many international businesses, including Canadian MedTech businesses looking for cooperation and investment expansion opportunities.
In response to this trend, the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada in Vietnam has proactively organized an online seminar for Canadian MedTech businesses that are interested in and wish to enter the Vietnamese market. MedNovum is honored to accept the invitation to coordinate in developing content and operating the Webinar with the topic: “Bringing Canadian MedTech to Vietnam – Legal Framework and Pathways to Medical Device Registration.”
Immediately after receiving the invitation, the MedNovum team actively prepared the content and coordinated smoothly between the two offices in Vietnam and Toronto to ensure a high-quality, professional and practical seminar..

As the keynote speaker, MedNovum presented in-depth analysis and practical experience accumulated over many years of operation in the field of medical device law, and is also a pioneer in providing MAH services in Vietnam and has a presence in both Vietnam and Canada. Through the online seminar, MedNovum helped Canadian MedTech manufacturers and businesses understand the regulations, requirements and challenges in the process of registering medical devices in Vietnam, thereby helping businesses avoid common regulatory errors and properly position their products when entering the Vietnamese market.
The workshop was a success, attracting a large number of Canadian manufacturers and businesses in the MedTech sector, as well as receiving enthusiastic follow-up and interaction from participating businesses. This clearly reflects the great demand of Canadian businesses for the potential Vietnamese market.
With this favorable start, MedNovum hopes to have the opportunity to accompany and support from the organizers in the future, to bring more online and in-person seminars to help international businesses better understand the regulations and the process of penetrating the medical equipment market in Vietnam.
