DETAILED REGULATIONS ON IMPLEMENTATION OF A NUMBER OF ARTICLES OF DECREE NO. 98/2021/ND-CP DATED NOVEMBER 8, 2021 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON MANAGEMENT OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Bộ Medical;

Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP dated August 8 11 year 2021 of the Government on equipment management medical;

At the request of the Director of the Department of Medical Equipment and Constructionế;

The Minister of Health issued a Circular detailing the implementation of a number of articles of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP dated 08 thahng 11 year 2021 of the Government on equipment management medical.

Article 1. Scope of regulation

1. This Circular details the implementation of a number of articles of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP dated November 8, 2021 of the Government on medical equipment management (hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP), including:

a) Classification of medical equipment prescribed in Clause 5, Article 5 of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP;

b) Supplementing the list of in vitro diagnostic medical equipment that does not have to undergo quality assessment by a competent authority of Vietnam as prescribed in Point d, Clause 3, Article 30 of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP;

c) List of medical equipment of types B, C, D purchased and sold like ordinary goods specified in Clause 1, Article 42 of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP;

d) List of medical equipment that must be inspected for safety and technical features as prescribed in Clause 10, Article 70 of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP;

d) List of medical equipment subject to import license as prescribed in Point d, Clause 2, Article 76 of Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP.

2. Announce the expiration of some documents on medical equipment management.
